# How do I use the Person-to-Business (P2B) name matching feature?

## Learn more about how to properly input names for matching

To use the Name Matching (P2B) feature, enter the names in the text box **separated by a comma**. Using name matching is **not a required** input for lookups. If name matches are **found**, the response will either be the primary contact and/or company officers' data.

When **no names** are returned in the data response then it can be attributed to **either** of the following reasons:

- No data was found
- The potential name matches did not meet the confidence match threshold set 

If P2B is not a contracted service, then this input area **will not** be displayed.
