What metrics do you use to assess the health of a business, and how often is this data updated?

Markaaz uses four primary metrics to assess the health of a business:

  • Bankruptcy history: A business has had a bankruptcy in its current or past history.
  • Markaaz Failure Risk Score: A prediction of the likelihood of a business ceasing operations with a loss to creditors within a 12‐month period.
  • Markaaz Credit Risk Score: A prediction of the risk of a business becoming severely delinquent within a 12-month period.
  • Markaaz Global Credit Risk Score: A global data normalization of a credit risk score.

Updates occur in real time or near-real time for several business health metrics, including compliance information and financial metrics. Other data sets, including public records and legal filings, are updated daily to reflect the latest available information for the most informed decisions.
